Russia Develops Cybersecurity Training Simulator
The platform allows users to practice defending against cyberattacks in real-world scenarios.

A universal virtual training simulator for cybersecurity specialists has been developed in Russia, according to the press service of Positive Technologies. The platform, called PT EdTechLab, lets users independently build and test defensive skills in a digital environment. The simulator has already been added to Russia’s official registry of domestic software.
Built on 20 Years of Experience
The developer — a company with more than 20 years of experience building cybersecurity systems — created the platform based on its own expertise. Users train on realistic tasks, while their actions are assessed by an embedded expert system. Training can be completed at any time without instructors. The tasks span five difficulty levels, and a modular architecture allows the simulator to be reconfigured for different training goals and skill sets.
According to the company’s press service, the simulator is expected to be useful for SOC analysts, offensive security experts, and other information security professionals.
