Specialists at Ingosstrakh have developed an intelligent system to automate crop rotation and improve its economic efficiency. It analyzes data on fields, crops being grown, and climate, proposing optimal sowing placement schemes. The calculations take into account both agronomic parameters and financial outcomes — including potential yield and profitability.

"Challenges at the intersection of disciplines are always the most interesting: on one hand, the classics in the form of dynamic programming, on the other, neural networks. We plan to use the algorithms we develop in other areas of the business going forward," commented Sergey Salynsky, head of the behavioral scenario modeling office at Ingosstrakh's AI development center.

Following a pilot project at one of the agricultural complexes, software was developed that can be used to solve a range of tasks.
