Rosatom Expands Industrial AI Deployment Across Russian Industry
Rosatom’s fuel division, TVEL, has signed a strategic agreement with IT company Industry Soft Solutions to further develop the AtomMind AI platform. The next version of the system is intended to move beyond isolated predictive analytics tools and become a unified environment for industrial AI services across Russian manufacturing.

The updated platform is being redesigned from a local predictive analytics solution into a consolidated workspace for industrial AI applications. According to the developers, the new architecture is expected to support a broader stage of digital transformation at Russian industrial enterprises.
Rethinking Industrial AI
Until now, AtomMind has mainly been used to address specific operational tasks at individual facilities. Developers are now shifting toward a unified technological framework that integrates AI models directly with industrial data streams. The updated architecture is designed to support end-to-end digitalization across multiple business processes, ranging from data collection to operational decision-making.
The platform will include built-in cybersecurity mechanisms suitable for critical infrastructure facilities. That capability is becoming increasingly important amid rising cyber threats and broader efforts to preserve Russia’s technological sovereignty.

A Cross-Industry Platform
AtomMind is intended not only for Rosatom itself, but also for a broad range of industrial enterprises across the country. The platform can be adapted for use in nuclear energy, mechanical engineering, metallurgy, chemical production, and the fuel and energy sector.
The first version of the platform helped reduce equipment downtime, lower maintenance costs, and decrease the share of defective products. The updated release is expected to strengthen those effects further while making industrial AI deployment faster and less expensive.

Demonstrating Technological Sovereignty
The project has received support from the Rossiysky fond razvitiya informatsionnykh tekhnologiy (Russian Fund for the Development of Information Technologies), known as RFRIT. AtomMind has been built entirely on Russian software, helping reduce dependence on foreign technologies while supporting the country’s technological sovereignty agenda.
Industry Soft Solutions CEO Aleksey Akulov previously noted that Rosatom acts not only as a customer, but also as a strategic partner helping shape the platform’s requirements at the highest level.

A New Industrial Stage
The release of the new AtomMind version is scheduled for late 2026. The platform is expected to become a major driver of digital transformation across Russian industry, helping enterprises move from isolated pilot projects toward large-scale industrial AI deployment aimed at improving operational efficiency.
The agreement between Rosatom and Industry Soft Solutions signals that Russian developers are already positioned to offer domestic companies and international markets reliable, secure, and economically viable industrial AI solutions.
