Russia’s Rutube Launches Business Accounts for Media Management
The country’s main video platform is rolling out tools for studios, broadcasters, and agencies to consolidate channels, monetize content, and access advanced analytics.

Russian video hosting platform Rutube announced that it has begun testing business accounts, a new service designed for professional market players such as production studios, distributors, TV networks, and blogger agencies.
The launch is significant because it is the first tool on the Russian market to offer a full-fledged solution for managing online media on a domestic platform. It meets the demands of major rights holders for centralized control of multiple channels, deep analytics, and revenue generation.
Announced at the Eastern Economic Forum, the project positions Rutube not merely as a video host but as a high-tech media business platform. Business accounts allow professional teams to consolidate all their channels under a single master account, manage networks of creators, and access advanced analytics.
Rutube, in turn, offers partners instant access to its multi-million audience and advertisers, as well as boosted promotion at launch. Teams can now upload and format content across several channels simultaneously, easily enable monetization, receive dedicated account manager support, and gain priority in search and recommendations.
In the near future, the feature set will expand with flexible content access settings and Rutube’s own paywall subscription system. This will give rights holders full control over how their content is distributed and monetized.
