Tatarstan to Explore Where AI Fits in Government Email
VK Tech and the Tatarstan Ministry of Digital Development have signed an agreement to jointly study where artificial intelligence can be useful in the republic government's email.
The email service runs on VK WorkSpace, and the parties will continue to develop it. They will also carry out educational, scientific, technical, and expert projects.
"Email remains one of the main tools of daily work, so we are interested in exploring new capabilities of this service. Together with VK Tech, we plan to determine where the use of artificial intelligence will be useful to employees," noted Albert Yakovlev, First Deputy Minister of Digital Development of Public Administration, Information Technology, and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan.
"We are developing artificial intelligence in VK WorkSpace as a tool for routine tasks. At the same time, decisions are always made by a human," emphasized Pyotr Shcheglov, head of the productivity services division at VK Tech.
