A new robotic warehouse operated by Sportmaster is set to begin operations soon in the Moscow suburb of Balashikha. Regional construction regulators have already completed inspections and approved the facility for commissioning.

The warehouse covers 55,000 square meters and includes automated sorting systems and conveyor lines with a combined length of 21 kilometers.

The new facility marks the final stage of Sportmaster’s logistics hub project in Balashikha. The city already hosts the company’s largest distribution center, covering roughly 130,000 square meters. In 2025, Sportmaster also launched its first robotic warehouse, similar to the one now preparing to open.

The company said it invested 7 billion rubles (about $78 million) in warehouse construction alone, with another 3 billion rubles (about $33 million) spent on equipment and robotics systems.
