AI Legal Assistant for the Mining Industry to Be Developed in Russia
The system is designed to relieve legal teams of routine work.
Gazpromneft Ekspertnyye resheniya (Gazpromneft Expert Solutions) and Sber Legal will jointly develop Russia's first AI-powered legal assistant for the mining industry. The platform is expected to significantly reduce routine workloads by taking over repetitive legal tasks. It will draft legal opinions, analyze case law, review documentation, and identify legal risks, allowing lawyers to focus on strategy and protecting business interests.
"Legal processes in the mining industry are among the most labor-intensive because they involve complex regulations and strict compliance requirements. We want to help our legal teams spend less time on routine work by reducing the burden of document preparation," said Yevgeniya Volkovskaya, CEO of Gazpromneft Ekspertnyye resheniya.
The AI platform is expected to enter operational use this autumn.
