High-Tech Russian Medical Innovations Showcased in Dubai
AI-powered cancer scanner and upcoming glucose monitoring system presented to international peers.
State corporation Rostec unveiled high-tech solutions for diagnostics, treatment, and prosthetics at World Health Expo Dubai 2026, the Middle East’s крупнейший healthcare forum.
Among the highlights in the United Arab Emirates were AI-based technologies. The first Russian histological slide scanner, OneCell Scan 3.0, detects cancer cells and assists physicians in making accurate diagnoses.
The AI-powered device operates around the clock, scanning histological samples, generating digital images, and flagging suspicious areas for doctors. In a single cycle, the scanner can process nearly 300 samples. The hardware-software complex has already entered serial production.
Sharing Expertise and Technology
The continuous glucose monitoring system was developed by NatsMedTech. The medical device Lumiflex Linx runs on proprietary Russian software and outperforms foreign analogues in several parameters. Preparations are under way to launch serial production. In the near future, the plant’s capacity will allow up to 5 million devices per year, supplying not only Russian patients but also international markets.
Rostec representatives also shared experience in implementing comprehensive rehabilitation systems and high-tech prosthetics and presented a prototype of Russia’s first MRI-compatible cardiac pacemaker.
