AI Voice Assistant to Launch in Another Russian Region
A new AI-powered voice assistant is coming to the Krasnoyarsk region, using speech synthesis and recognition to handle routine citizen requests—from doctor appointments to utility services.
In the Krasnoyarsk region—Russia’s second-largest by area—local authorities plan to deploy new AI-based customer service systems that use speech synthesis and recognition technologies to automate communication with residents.
The voice assistant will help citizens book medical appointments, apply for government services, learn about social support measures, and manage housing and utility-related issues.
According to regional officials, the main benefits of AI assistants include faster processing of routine requests, reduced workload for call-center staff and public service employees, and a more convenient user experience. The service will operate 24/7 without breaks or weekends.
Similar projects are already running successfully across several Russian regions. In the Moscow region, for example, the AI operator 'Zhenya' handled more than 333,000 calls and automatically processed 151,000 service requests during a single reporting period—demonstrating the technology’s effectiveness.
