Flymar has developed a machine vision system designed for use on high-speed small watercraft. The platform continuously monitors the surrounding environment, recognizes objects on the water in all visibility conditions, and provides navigation recommendations to the operator. It is also designed to simplify maneuvering in narrow channels, navigating marinas, and docking.

According to the developers, the computer vision system can detect objects on the water at distances of up to 300 meters and responds 10 times faster than a human. The platform can also transmit data to nearby vessels and to shore-based decision-making centers.

During the upcoming season, the company plans to expand its data collection efforts to train its neural networks, including gathering information from challenging navigation environments. The system can be installed not only on Flymar vessels but also on other types of transportation.
