KOMPAS-3D v25 CAD Software Confirmed Compatible With Red OS
The combination allows companies to create fully featured workstations for engineers.
ASCON and Red Soft have completed compatibility testing for KOMPAS-3D v25 computer-aided design software with the Red OS operating system. The software can now run fully on the new platform without requiring additional tools.
The combination is designed for engineers, designers and drafting professionals. It is intended for resource-intensive tasks that require substantial computing power, including work in mechanical engineering, instrument manufacturing, industrial and civil construction, and other fields that rely on 3D design and engineering documentation.
Red OS is a Russian operating system listed in the Ministry of Digital Development’s software registry and certified by the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC). Combined with KOMPAS-3D, it allows companies to set up engineering workstations without replacing their core software.
