Russia’s Ministry of Construction has launched a set of resident support services within the Max messenger, according to the platform’s press service.

The digital assistant has been rolled out across residential chat groups in apartment buildings nationwide. Starting April 1, the chatbot will help users submit requests to property management companies, send reminders to report utility meter readings, and prompt payments for коммунальные services. Residential chats are also available through the Gosuslugi.Dom (housing services platform) and Elektronny Dom (electronic housing platform).

In total, 539,000 residential chat groups have been created within the Max app to facilitate communication between residents and property managers across Russia. By the end of March, the audience for these chats had exceeded 12 million users.

Expanding Business Capabilities

Russian businesses are also actively leveraging the capabilities of the domestic messenger. For example, a company based in Perm has launched a digital HR service called Voyti | IT within the Max ecosystem. The platform is currently operating in test mode and connects IT companies, job seekers from junior to senior levels, and educational institutions, streamlining recruitment and employment in the tech sector.

Earlier, the national messenger Max opened a platform for business integration. Companies can now automate customer interactions using chatbots, launch online storefronts and websites via mini-apps, use digital ID for age verification and eligibility checks, and access more than 30 ready-made integrations with CRM and chatbot platforms.
