Neuro-Predictor to Debut in Russia’s Yamal Region at Reindeer Herder Festival
Rostelecom is to showcase an AI-powered installation blending tradition and digital tech

Russian digital provider Rostelecom plans to present a new interactive AI project for visitors at Reindeer Herder Day, the main regional festival in the Yamal region. A “Tsifrovoy chum” (digital chum) featuring a neuro-predictor installation will be set up in Salekhard, the company’s press service said.
The AI system will scan a visitor’s face and generate a personalized “cosmic persona” – such as a northern shaman, a guardian of the universe, or a cyberpunk character. Along with the image, users will receive a prediction generated by a neural network.
Technology Through Cultural Imagery
Dmitry Shchelgachev, director of Rostelecom’s Yamalo-Nenets branch, said the Tsifrovoy chum represents how new technologies are reaching even the most remote parts of the region.
