New Developments Help Russian Companies Protect Employee Data

Digital solutions are rapidly transforming HR operations in Russia, strengthening data protection and reducing compliance risks

Digital Transformation of HR

Recent research shows that 52 percent of Russian companies now store résumés and employee data in digital form—either on internal servers or through CRM platforms. The findings, published by analysts at Talantix, part of the hh.ru HR ecosystem, illustrate how businesses are shifting toward secure, automated information management.

Over the past year, one-third of companies have tightened control over personal data, reflecting growing attention to cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.

One‑Click Consent

According to Talantix representative Marina Khadina, modern systems enable companies to collect consent for data processing in a single click. When a résumé is uploaded from hh.ru, no additional request is needed. For other sources, mass email tools with automated response tracking ensure compliance with federal legislation.

The shift to digital HR platforms improves the security of personal data, reduces legal risks, and frees recruiters from repetitive administrative tasks.
