Russia Launches Nationwide MFC Chatbots Inside the MAX Messenger

Citizens can now access government services and book in-person appointments remotely.

Chatbots for multifunctional public service centers (MFCs) from all regions of Russia have gone live inside the MAX mobile messenger. The bots allow users to access core government services in digital form without visiting an MFC office.

Queue Management Inside the App

Using MFC chatbots in MAX, users can check whether their documents are ready, track the status of submitted requests, and find the addresses and opening hours of nearby service centers. The service also shows the current queue status and lets users book appointments at a convenient time.

Remote Access to Public Services

Integrating the chatbots into the national messenger expands options for remote interaction with MFCs and simplifies access to information about government services. Users no longer need to visit third-party websites or install additional apps — all core functions are now available within a single digital service.

By handling routine inquiries and appointment scheduling, the chatbots reduce unnecessary in-person visits to MFC offices.
