Six Robotic Welders Deployed at Pavlovo Bus Plant
They have been put to work in the production of a range of key vehicle components.
Six robotic systems have begun operating at the Pavlovo Bus Plant. The equipment was installed in the body welding shop.
The systems are used for welding base cross members, spring bracket superstructures, door frames, driver cabin partition frames, and engine subframes.
Each robot works with a special rotary table equipped with two fixtures. While parts are being welded in one, the operator is already loading components into the second. When the cycle is complete, the table automatically rotates: the robot receives a new set of parts, and the operator receives the finished product. This significantly speeds up the work.
The introduction of the new technology has eased the burden on employees and improved both the quality of work and the overall productivity of the section.
