Russian App Store Launches Public Testing for Apps Before Release

RuStore, Russia’s homegrown app marketplace, is letting everyday users test apps before they officially launch. The move aims to improve quality by giving developers direct feedback from real people.
The Russian app store RuStore has introduced a new feature that allows users to test applications ahead of their public release. The tool is designed to help developers debug and refine their software before it goes live.
Developers can upload a trial build of their program to the marketplace and create a dedicated page for it. They then share an invite link with users interested in joining the test.
Feedback — whether bug reports or suggestions — is sent directly to the developers and is not published publicly. According to RuStore, this setup gives developers valuable insights from real users and helps them improve apps on time. For users, it’s a chance to be among the first to try new software and influence how the final product will look.
The platform will also keep an option for closed testing with a smaller group of pre-selected experts.
