Russia’s GLONASS Launches Transport Support Chatbots in National Messenger Max
Digital Tools Will Help Thousands of Companies Manage Fleet Data and Navigation Systems in Real Time

Russia’s GLONASS JSC has introduced a new transport support system integrated into the national messenger Max, featuring specialized AI-powered chatbots that help logistics and transport companies quickly resolve issues related to navigation equipment and data transmission. The project is designed to enhance the efficiency and responsiveness of the country’s transport network.
The new services target public transport operators, forestry companies, small aviation, and hazardous goods carriers, according to RIA Novosti. Owners of vehicles connected to the ERA-GLONASS state navigation system can now monitor data transfers and receive technical support instantly — without the need for lengthy customer service requests.
Built on a Domestic Platform
The Max messenger provides the reliability and scalability required for nationwide deployment. The chatbot system will assist more than 70,000 enterprises in configuring equipment and accessing mission-critical information necessary for daily operations.
It is expected to handle over 15,000 requests per day, with the figure set to rise as more vehicles join the network. The ERA-GLONASS monitoring platform already transmits transport movement data to agencies including Rostransnadzor, Rosleskhoz, and regional and municipal systems — marking another step in Russia’s digital transformation of the transport sector.
