Business Gets Ready-to-Use Biometrics for Face-Based Payments and Access
Infotex Internet Trust has launched TrustCBS, a commercial biometric system powered by VisionLabs facial recognition technology. It is designed to enable secure remote user authentication.
Biometric identity verification can be used for face-based payments at stores and cafes, logging into applications, and entering offices and industrial facilities.
Facial recognition is handled by algorithms from Russian company VisionLabs, whose software is included in the Unified Register of Russian Software. The system includes liveness detection to confirm that a person, rather than a photograph or mask, is in front of the camera, as well as a deepfake detector.
TrustCBS is accredited by the Russian Ministry of Digital Development. Under Federal Law No. 572-FZ, adopted in 2022, biometric data can only be processed through accredited commercial biometric systems or the Unified Biometric System.
