The company has launched a platform called Tsifrovoy arkhiv (Digital Archive), which will house more than 500,000 paper records of local residents. The electronic database speeds up document retrieval while reducing the risk of loss due to physical wear or harsh climate conditions. Archivists freed from manual storage tasks are expected to shift to more substantive work. Over time, a unified access point for archival data could underpin new services, such as the automatic recalculation of pensions.

At the same time, MTS specialists installed electronic queue kiosks in 13 branches of the institution. Visitors no longer spend time waiting in physical lines, while staff can distribute workloads more evenly. The system also includes a real-time feedback collection tool.

“Primorsky Region is one of the leading areas in demand for digital services among businesses and public institutions. Cloud services, smart video surveillance, and videoconferencing platforms are among the most requested solutions. This year, however, we are also seeing a growing trend toward digitizing large volumes of data. Projects like these help organizations move away from leasing dedicated archive facilities and cut logistics costs tied to document transport,” said Evgenia Sysoeva, MTS director in Primorsky Region.
