Russian Post Expands Access to Fast Payments and Digital Services for Businesses

The national postal operator has streamlined onboarding and scaled digital tools, with registrations now taking minutes instead of weeks.

Russian Post now serves more than 200,000 entrepreneurs and is steadily shifting its interactions with business clients into digital channels. Online registration, which previously took weeks, now takes about 15 minutes and accounts for 98% of all new connections in 2025. Electronic document management has been adopted by 94% of the company’s clients.

According to Yana Shepeleva, head of mass, small, and medium business development at Russian Post, the company has made its engagement with entrepreneurs faster and more technology-driven.

Russian Post was the first in the country to offer corporate clients cashless payments via the Faster Payments System, helping speed up transactions and reduce errors. At the same time, the company is expanding its e-commerce logistics capabilities, including automated sorting, multimodal routes, and a new warehouse complex near Vnukovo Airport for storage and customs processing of goods.
