Russian Identity Management System Integrates With Secure Matrix Messenger
RooX has integrated its UIDM digital identity management system with the Matrix secure communications ecosystem, allowing organizations to bring corporate messaging into a unified access management environment.
Matrix is an open messaging protocol that organizations use to deploy their own messaging and collaboration platforms while keeping data within their own infrastructure. RooX has integrated its UIDM platform with Matrix using the OpenID Connect protocol, enabling employees to sign in through a single corporate account while automatically provisioning new users without manual intervention from IT administrators.
"Communication platforms are an integral part of today's enterprise IT landscape and should meet the same security and management requirements as other corporate systems. RooX UIDM handles two-factor authentication using a variety of user directories, making it possible to incorporate a corporate messenger into a unified access management framework," said Denis Pulin, Head of Projects and Analytics at RooX.
