AI Concierge in Every Building: Neural Networks Are Reshaping the Housing Management Market
Residents of 100,000 apartments in Moscow and the Leningrad Region now have access to an AI assistant developed by the Domyland platform. The joint project was implemented by A101 Group and Yandex.

The AI assistant, developed by Domyland, a platform within Yandex’s PropTech business, was launched in late July 2026. Three weeks later, the technology was deployed in residential buildings operated by A101 Group. This is not merely another web-based information bot. It is a technology product built on the Yandex AI Studio family of large language models. The assistant can do more than recognize text: it can analyze the user’s intent. It can process typed messages and voice messages and read utility-meter readings from a photograph.
Users no longer need to search for the right section in an app. The AI assistant identifies the appropriate request category and launches the required workflow within the property management company’s digital ecosystem. That can mean submitting a repair request, connecting internet service, calling a plumber or electrician, ordering a guest pass, and much more.
The AI assistant can also engage in a dialogue with residents and answer questions related both to the property management company’s operations and to the broader housing and utilities sector. These include water shutoff schedules, the management company’s hours of operation, rules for carrying out noisy work, and much more. The platform’s developers integrated the AI assistant with a frequently asked questions module, so most requests can be handled without an operator. When necessary, the assistant can bring a professional from the management company into the conversation.
Deploying the AI assistant has not only made communication with the company significantly easier for residents, but has also substantially reduced the workload for the company itself. The number of incorrect requests has fallen, as has the burden on operators.

Growth Potential: From Request Handler to Infrastructure Agent
In the longer term, the assistant could evolve from a program that processes requests into a key management agent for the entire residential ecosystem. Domyland already works with CRM systems, apps for residents and property management employees, and smart-home components. In the future, an AI agent could manage building access on its own, work with payment services, and independently analyze and transmit data from various meters and pieces of equipment.
The platform will also continue expanding across Russia’s regions. Developers in Moscow and the Leningrad Region, Chelyabinsk and Yekaterinburg are already working with Domyland. Companies from Kazakhstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates have also shown interest in Domyland products, indicating that the technology has export potential as well.

From CRM to Voice Concierges
The advanced assistant is the result of years of platform evolution. The Domyland PropTech platform was founded in 2017, and its first products focused on automating routine processes for property management companies. Over time, new areas were added, including various smart systems for remotely managing intercoms and cameras, as well as smart-apartment solutions.
In 2025, Yandex fully consolidated all assets of the Domyland group of companies, giving the product line a new push for development. That same year, Yandex launched its own project to integrate Alice into smart buildings at the SLAVA residential complex in Moscow. There, residents were able to use an AI assistant to manage the building’s infrastructure. Domyland’s solutions therefore fit directly into the ecosystem Yandex is developing.

The Birth of an Interface-Free Digital Environment
The A101 Group and Domyland project illustrates where smart-home and residential-infrastructure ecosystems are heading. Instead of navigating complex interfaces, users are offered an intelligent voice assistant that can identify the tasks they assign to it, pass those requests on to the property management company, and conduct a direct dialogue with the resident.
At the same time, both the Domyland platform and the Yandex AI Studio models are fully Russian-developed technologies. Russia’s housing and utilities sector is moving away from imported solutions, while Russian IT companies are capable of offering competitive products both at home and in international markets.
