Russian Businesses Accelerate AI Adoption in 2025

Corporate Russia is embracing artificial intelligence and predictive analytics at an unprecedented pace, signaling a major shift in how key industries operate.
Russian companies have sharply increased their use of digital technologies in the second quarter of 2025, according to a new study from System X LLC. Adoption of AI-driven solutions rose by 32% compared to the same period last year. Twelve months ago, only 28% of firms reported integrating AI tools into their workflow. Today, that number has surged to 43%, a jump experts are calling the beginning of widespread implementation.
Manufacturing is leading this wave of AI adoption, followed closely by the energy sector and financial services. Analysts point to three main drivers behind the trend: clear economic benefits, the availability of off-the-shelf solutions, and strong government support for digital transformation initiatives.
The payoff is already tangible. Companies leveraging AI have managed to cut operational costs by 16% while boosting revenue by 34%, the report notes.
IT industry experts say.
Analysts believe this surge in digital transformation will become a cornerstone of Russia's economic competitiveness in the coming years. They predict broader AI adoption will streamline production, improve planning accuracy, and reduce costs — laying the foundation for long-term growth and increased investment in innovative technologies.
