Russian Teachers Learn to Use AI in the Classroom
Educators across Russia are being trained to use neural networks to cut down on routine work and improve communication with parents.

In the Saratov region, the Russian Knowledge Society held a large-scale educational event on artificial intelligence for teachers. More than 2,500 educators — from preschool instructors to university professors — attended lectures and workshops on how to use AI in their daily work.
Oleg Panin, founder of Center-Game, showed teachers how neural networks can help automate repetitive tasks. Participants learned to generate test questions, create visual materials, summarize lessons, plan classes, verify facts, and even build effective prompt templates for working with AI tools.
Equally important, the sessions covered how to talk with parents about the ethical and practical aspects of using AI in education — a sensitive topic for many families.
Expanding Nationwide
Teacher AI training programs are now spreading across Russia. Earlier, similar workshops took place in Udmurtia, where educators learned to generate images, automate grading, and analyze data from public institutions.
These efforts mark a broader national trend: integrating artificial intelligence into the education system not just as a tool for students, but as a digital assistant for teachers — one that saves time, reduces stress, and improves the learning process.
