Scientists From Two Universities Create Interactive 3D Atlas of a Pig
No comparable model with this level of anatomical detail currently exists in Russia, according to the developers.

Researchers from Samara State Medical University and Belgorod State Agrarian University have created an interactive 3D atlas of a pig. The model is intended for agricultural universities and other educational institutions where students study animal anatomy.
The project was developed as part of the National Technology Initiative's Bionic Engineering in Medicine program. Users can freely rotate the model, zoom in, and examine individual organs and body systems in detail.
"We received many requests for this particular animal from agricultural universities and schools. Our goal was not simply to create an attractive visualization, but to provide a highly accurate educational tool designed specifically for teaching. No one in Russia has previously created a 3D pig model with this level of anatomical detail," said Aykush Nazaryan, head of the 3D Modeling Laboratory at Samara State Medical University's center for digital technologies.
The model can be used on desktop computers, laptops, and touch-enabled display panels.
