Russia’s AI Platform Market to Surpass $165 Million in 2025

Analysts say demand for AI inference solutions is surging, driven by government support and businesses racing to automate.

The Russian market for platforms that train and deploy artificial intelligence models is projected to exceed 15 billion rubles ($187,5 million) in 2025, according to analysts. The sector has been growing at an average annual rate of about 20%, fueled by demand from industry, the public sector, and business process digitalization, Forbes reports.

Inference platforms—where AI processes data using pre-trained algorithms—are in particularly high demand in manufacturing, fintech, telecom, and retail. Large enterprises use AI for predictive analytics, supply chain management, and quality control, while small and medium-sized businesses rely on it for automating customer support and generating content.

Experts note that companies are looking for simple, fast ways to adopt AI. Customers want not only raw computing power but full ecosystems offering model choices, security, and control. Deployment speed has also become a critical competitive factor.

The government is testing AI, too: the Ministry of Digital Development is experimenting with its use for document analysis and citizen request processing. This reflects a broader trend toward integrating AI into strategic sectors.

By 2025, market leaders are expected to be providers of comprehensive platforms that combine performance, flexibility, and security. Russian companies are already showing readiness for digital transformation, and rising AI investment confirms its status as a top technological priority.
