Among the university's flagship projects is an electric drilling machine with an automatic feed system designed for the aerospace industry. The prototype has already completed testing at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant and the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant.

"The functional capabilities of the first prototype have already been demonstrated to representatives of aviation companies. The university contributed this patent as equity capital to Siberian Engineering Center LLC," said Igor Kaloshin, head of INRTU's research division.

The university's digital developments include software for processing geophysical survey data collected by drones, a program for scanning engineering drawings, and a system for analyzing the operation of aluminum electrolyzers. INRTU also patented jewelry designs in partnership with Russian Gemstones JSC and registered the board game Nedropoliya, which was created to promote interest in the mining industry.

"Through licensing agreements, the university's developments are manufactured and deployed by industrial enterprises. This is the model we aim to use in building long-term, systematic cooperation with our key industry partners," Kaloshin said.
