More Than 73 Million Russians Use Digital Profile on Gosuslugi
The system enables access to government, banking, and insurance services online

More than 73 million Russians actively use their digital profile on Gosuslugi (public services platform), according to the Ministry of Digital Development. The technology allows users to access government, banking, and insurance services online in a secure environment. To use the profile, users must grant consent for personal data processing through their Gosuslugi account, after which their information is automatically populated when interacting with agencies or institutions online.
Reliable Data by Design
Users no longer need to fill out forms manually or repeatedly upload digital copies of documents, as all required data is retrieved from their profile. Organizations, in turn, can rely on the accuracy of the information provided. The system reduces paperwork, speeds up service delivery, and lowers the risk of document fraud.
To date, individuals have issued more than 210 million consents for personal data processing, while legal entities have submitted around 50,000. The technology is most commonly used for submitting applications to banks, completing client questionnaires, and accessing financial platform services.
