A new high-tech logistics complex has begun operations in the Moscow Region, aimed at accelerating the processing and delivery of online orders. The hub is located in the Bobrovo area, near the Moscow Ring Road.

The facility covers approximately 24,500 square meters and currently handles up to 20,000 shipments per hour. Capacity is expected to increase to 60,000 shipments per hour as additional processing lines are added.

Most operations at the site are automated. Parcels are sorted using advanced scanning and digital recognition systems, significantly reducing the need for manual labor. Mechanized conveyors and high-speed loading and unloading equipment handle cargo movement.

Robots and Automated Carts

The site includes a warehouse for e-commerce operations, where the full logistics cycle is carried out, including receiving, storage, picking, and packaging. Robots and automated carts handle part of the workload, transporting goods across the facility.

Experts say such complexes are becoming a core component of e-commerce infrastructure, enabling faster order processing while reducing costs as online retail continues to grow.

Earlier, it was reported that Russia and Qatar opened a joint IT hub.
