Russia Launches Online Service to Find Available Grain Elevators

Russia has launched a pilot version of an online service that helps farmers find available grain elevators. The service is available through Pole.RF, a digital platform for the agricultural sector. From a single interface, users can search for available storage facilities and immediately submit requests to store their grain.
According to the developers, the service saves users considerable time. Contacting grain elevators individually by phone can take hours or even days, whereas the new platform streamlines the process.
The developers say the platform's capabilities will continue to expand. Planned features include advanced regional analytics on storage capacity utilization and integration with the platform's logistics services.
