Beeline Expands Network Between Moscow's Largest Data Centers
The operator built 76 kilometers of new lines for the project.
Beeline has announced the successful expansion of its transport network. Over three months, the operator built 76 kilometers of new fiber-optic lines and connected Moscow's largest commercial data centers to them. Corporate customers now have more options for organizing redundancy between sites, building distributed IT infrastructure and scaling digital services.
Beeline's project responds to current market requirements. Companies are increasingly deploying their IT infrastructure across several data centers. Under these conditions, requirements for connection quality are significantly increasing.
"Today, business competitiveness increasingly depends on how reliably its digital services operate. That is why companies need not only data center capacity but also high-quality connections between them. We are developing our own transport network so that corporate customers can build distributed IT infrastructure, scale their services and be confident that the network is ready for growing workloads and new business needs," said Oleg Biryukov, director of Beeline's Moscow Region.
