Ministry of Construction to Link Construction Sites With Digital Twins by 2028
The Russian Ministry of Construction presented a roadmap for the development of industry information systems through 2028 at the GosStart forum in Nizhny Novgorod.

It envisions data exchange between regional construction management systems, the unified Stroykompleks.RF information system, and the National Spatial Data System platform.
The regional level is to be built on the basis of the standard industry solution Construction Management. To exchange legally significant information, the scheme includes regional data showcases and a federal showcase of the register of state and municipal services. Connection to the National Spatial Data System is expected to link industry information with territorial data.
As Nikolai Parfentyev, Director of the Digital Development Department at the Ministry of Construction, noted, such exchange will in the future make it possible to build digital twins of capital construction sites and territories. The accumulated information is planned to be used in infrastructure planning and forecasting regional development.
The statement describes the target architecture. The composition of the data to be transmitted, exchange formats, and requirements for transferring design models were not detailed in the published remarks.
