Moscow Students Become Six Times More Active in Tracking Exams Online

The Kontrolnye raboty (Testing and Exam Tracker service) in the Moskovskaya elektronnaya shkola (Moscow Electronic School platform) was accessed nearly 3 million times during the current academic year, while the number of students and parents using it increased more than sixfold to nearly 282,000 people.

The service was launched within MESH in 2024 and allows students to see upcoming exams and assessment tests in advance, including the subject matter and the number of days remaining before the test date. Moscow’s Department of Education and Science said the tool is designed to help students manage study time more efficiently and prepare ahead of exams.

Parents can view not only exam schedules, but also completed assignments, grades, and scanned copies of tests if teachers upload them. For teachers, the platform provides a centralized view of assignments and deadlines across all subjects for each class, helping them manage student workload more effectively.

Since launch, the service has been used more than 5 million times. It is available in the “School” section of the Dnevnik MESH mobile app and in the “Studies” section of the web-based electronic gradebook.
