NIR Center Presents RudNIR Multi-Agent Mining Management System
It provides precise control of equipment.
Specialists at NIR Center have for the first time presented the RudNIR multi-agent mining management system at the RUDNIK exhibition in Yekaterinburg. It makes it possible to control heavy machinery without capital investment in building a dedicated communications infrastructure at the deposit.
The system includes software, along with a set of wireless sensors, on-board computers, and a proprietary communication system for synchronizing and transmitting real-time data on the location and operating status of equipment. Positioning accuracy is up to one meter.
"The RudNIR complex has successfully passed laboratory testing, and pilot projects are now underway. The software is included in the Russian software registry. Based on field testing results, the communication system within RudNIR provides coverage of up to 99% of mine infrastructure, continuous data transmission, and object positioning with accuracy of up to one meter. Among the expected economic effects are a projected productivity increase of 3–10% and an improvement in equipment utilization rate of 5–15%, as well as faster notification during unplanned downtime and the ability to respond more quickly to emergency situations," said Denis Korneev, Technical Director of NIR Center.
