Estates of the Past Come to Life in Virtual Reality in Bryansk
At the Kvantorium children's technology park, participants in the festival Russian Estate: From Past to Future are learning to create digital models of architectural monuments.
A separate training session is devoted to how artificial intelligence helps build digital twins of cultural heritage sites.
Instead of guided tours and reading about the history of estates, the organizers invited participants to assemble their own virtual copies. Lectures and master classes introduce 3D modeling and virtual and augmented reality technologies, culminating in original projects for revitalizing architectural monuments.
Security also received attention. Experts reminded attendees that correspondence with a neural network is protected by neither medical nor attorney-client privilege, so not everything can be entrusted to it. Passport data, SNILS, INN, bank details, confirmation codes, medical information, and other people's personal information must not be shared with such services.
