Chechen State University Creates System for Climate Adaptation of Plants
The system consists of a whole set of modules.

Chechen State University has developed an automated system for growing plants and preparing seedlings for planting out. In the future, it could find wide application in greenhouse and farming operations, nurseries, and breeding centers.
The system is equipped with a whole set of various modules. They make it possible to gradually change air temperature and humidity, control lighting and irrigation, and monitor plant condition. The developers are confident that the technology will reduce plant stress during transplanting and increase their resilience to changing external conditions.
"When developing the device, we sought to create a system that not only maintains the necessary conditions for growing plants but also allows them to be gradually changed depending on the tasks at hand. Particular attention was given to automating processes and developing a digital platform through which the user can control the device, track environmental parameters, and monitor plant development," noted Islam Magomedov, head of the Digital Transformation Center at ChSU.
