Russian retailer STD Petrovich, together with Petrovich-Tech and system integrator Media-Tel, has deployed the SimpleOne platform. The system is built on an ESM approach, where all employee requests are processed within a single environment.
Employees can now submit any request through a unified interface. The system automatically routes each request, eliminating the need to identify the right department. In effect, it functions as a centralized digital back office.
“Our strategic goal is to build a unified ESM platform for all non-core processes. We want any employee – even without knowing exactly where their issue should be handled – to find answers through a single window. SimpleOne makes this possible thanks to its flexibility and the ability to quickly test business hypotheses. In just a couple of weeks, we can design a process, test it with business teams, and then decide whether to scale it into a full product,” said Vladislav Berdichevsky, IT director at Petrovich-Tech.
Rapid Deployment
The low-code platform significantly accelerates the rollout of new tools. One of the first use cases was managing overdue receivables. Previously, the process involved multiple departments and included manual operations. Now the entire cycle runs within a single system and is fully transparent.
“For us as an integrator, the project to automate overdue receivables management became a clear example of how a well-designed digital platform can turn a complex, multi-stage process into a transparent and manageable system. Together with the client’s team, we completed the full cycle – from defining requirements and responsibilities to developing tailored tools for legal, finance, accounting, and economic security teams,” said Vladimir Lyaleko, a representative of Media-Tel.
Platform for Growth
The company plans to expand its digital ecosystem by adding new services to unify data and improve collaboration across departments.
“This project shows how critical it is for automation platforms to adapt quickly to unique business processes. The company has not just automated отдельных processes but has built a comprehensive digital transformation strategy, where each new initiative strengthens the overall ecosystem,” said Ruslan Sharipov, CEO of SimpleOne.
