Russia to Allocate 200 Million Rubles to Modernize IT Infrastructure of Fisheries Sector
The funds will come from the federal budget.

The Russian government will allocate around 200 million rubles ($~2.2 million) to modernize the IT infrastructure of the country's fisheries sector, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.
"To improve the reliability of information systems in the fisheries sector, we will allocate funds to upgrade infrastructure and purchase the necessary equipment manufactured in Russia," the prime minister explained.
In particular, this involves the use of advanced systems that will make it possible to monitor the operation of fishing vessels and the state of aquatic biological resources, as well as process the information needed by companies in the industry.
"We expect this to ensure the uninterrupted operation of digital platforms and help improve the efficiency of fishing enterprises," Mishustin said.
