Sber Opens Exhibition of GigaChat-Generated Artwork at Its St. Petersburg Offices
An exhibition of posters created by local residents with the help of Sber’s GigaChat AI is now open at the bank’s offices in St. Petersburg.
The exhibition marks Sber’s 185th anniversary and is part of Giga-Art, a nationwide festival of AI-generated art.
The project explores Russia’s identity through the lens of technology. Images are on display at 12 Sber offices, exploring the country’s cultural codes, natural landscapes, regional diversity and other elements that shape people’s sense of their homeland. The featured themes include “Fairy Tales,” “Patterns,” “Stage,” “Nature” and “Love.” Sber will showcase the best entries on media facades across Russia from October 26 through November 4.
“In the year of Sber’s 185th anniversary, it is especially important for us to show that technology is not just about efficiency, but also about creativity. We opened this exhibition in our offices so that as many people as possible could see what imagination can achieve when combined with technology, and how artificial intelligence can be a creative partner to an artist rather than a replacement,” said Sergey Fiks, deputy chairman of Sberbank’s North-Western Bank.
