Boguchany Aluminum Plant Deploys Advanced Laboratory Information Systems
The new systems are designed to improve product quality control while reducing operating costs.
ITECO Group has completed the deployment of the DES.LIMS laboratory information management system at the Boguchany Aluminum Plant. Over a seven-month period, the project team modernized two laboratories. The upgrade is expected to streamline product quality control processes and significantly reduce costs.
"Laboratories play a critical role in the production cycle because they measure the key quality parameters of both raw materials and finished alloys. Digitalization of laboratory operations is one of the priority areas in our production modernization program," said Andrey Kartavtsev, CEO of the Boguchany Aluminum Plant.
The facility now operates within a unified information environment for quality control. The system covers every major stage of the workflow, from sample collection to final reporting. In addition to improving process transparency, the platform establishes a foundation for future modernization efforts.
