Closed Beta Testing of New TaktApp Social Network to Begin in Russia
TaktApp (Tact App), a Russian social network, is set to begin closed beta testing on October 1, 2026.
The first stage is designed for 3,000 users – 1,000 creators and 2,000 viewers. The platform will be available on the web and Android, while an iOS version is scheduled to follow later.
The service combines photo and text posts, short videos, stories, direct messages and a recommendation feed. The developers are emphasizing variety: a single trend should account for no more than 10-15% of the daily feed, while new creators with fewer than 500 followers will gradually receive greater reach. The service may suggest softening harsh wording, while offensive comments will not be published, with constructive responses given priority. The feed will also feature more local content.
The idea for the service emerged in 2025, and development began in March 2026.
