Cloud.ru Builds Its First Proprietary Data Center Near Moscow
The facility will have a power capacity of 11 MW.
Cloud.ru has started building its own data center in the Moscow Region. The facility is scheduled to enter service in 2027.
"We are expanding our computing capacity to support the development and launch of new cloud and AI services on the Cloud.ru Evolution platform. This will help us meet growing demand from large businesses and government organizations for the rapid and accessible adoption of modern technologies," said Mikhail Lobotsky, CEO of Cloud.ru.
The data center will have a total power capacity of 11 MW and accommodate up to 890 server racks with power ratings of up to 20 kW each. Its entire infrastructure will meet the TIER III reliability standard.
Cloud.ru currently operates approximately 45,000 IT infrastructure assets, including around 30,000 servers. The company leases capacity across nine commercial data centers, and the combined power capacity of its deployed infrastructure already exceeds 60 MW.
