Kostroma Region Multifunctional Centers Switch to Russian Data Storage System
IT integrator IT-Pro has deployed a Russian software-defined storage system based on RAIDIX 5 software at multifunctional centers in the Kostroma Region. The solution replaces disparate imported servers and has been included in the Russian Ministry of Digital Development's Register of Russian Software.

The new storage system supports the virtualization cluster and reduces the risk of data loss associated with using separate servers instead of a unified system. The ERA Engine software mechanism provides high performance with solid-state drives, while support for proprietary RAID levels, including RAID 7.3 and RAID N+M, improves data storage reliability.
"Growing data volumes, the need for reliable data storage and regulatory requirements are the three factors that make the deployment of a full-featured Russian data storage system the only right choice for a large organization today. I would also add that the compatibility of Russian software products significantly improves the efficiency of the entire infrastructure," said Aleksei Kazakov, head of the presales group at RAIDIX.
