Moscow Region Launches Online Search for Adaptive Sports Programs
People with disabilities in the Moscow region can now use a convenient online tool to search for sports programs. A new section, “Adaptivny sport” (Adaptive Sports), has been launched on the “Sport Podmoskovya” (Sport of the Moscow Region) portal.
The section includes a filtering system that allows users to select a sport, skill level and the degree of accessibility for people with limited mobility. The portal lists 450 facilities, each with details on operating hours and coach qualifications. The interface is intuitive, and information is updated regularly to reflect current schedules and available spots in groups.
The service’s demand is reflected in usage data: more than 1,000 applications have been submitted since launch, according to the Ministry of Public Administration, Information Technology and Communications of the Moscow region.
