A new livestock complex designed for 3,000 dairy cows will be built in the Moscow Region. The project will be developed by SP NIVA, part of the OSP Agro agricultural holding. Total investment is expected to reach about 3 billion rubles ($~38 million).

Developers plan to make digital technologies a central part of the new complex. The facility will include a Delta-type parallel automated milking parlor with an integrated management system that supports digital livestock records, online process monitoring and production analytics. The buildings will also be equipped with automated cleaning systems and climate-control systems designed to maintain stable indoor temperatures during winter.

The first phase of the livestock complex is scheduled to begin operations before the end of this year. Once the project reaches full capacity, the company expects to increase milk production nearly fourfold to 32,000 tons annually.
