During the program, students studied the concepts of the Energy Internet and digital twins, explored the architecture of digital substations and the IEC 61850 international standard, and gained practical knowledge of cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection. They applied these skills to develop practical digital solutions and simulate real-world engineering processes in their graduation projects.

The projects included modernization of a current protection training system using the MasterSCADA platform, a prototype transformer differential protection system based on an Arduino microcontroller, optimization of load distribution in hybrid power supply systems, and an analysis of geothermal energy development in Russia's Kamchatka Kray.

Completing the program gives graduates a competitive advantage in the job market, where employers increasingly seek engineers who combine traditional engineering expertise with advanced digital skills.
