Rosneft Unveils Digital Platform for Soil Laboratory Automation
RN-Soil-Lab can reduce processing times by roughly a factor of three.
A Rosneft engineering institute hosted the Southern Scientific and Technical Forum in Krasnodar, bringing together leading specialists from the extractive industries. Digitalization and automation of industrial processes were among the event's central themes.
One of the technologies that attracted significant attention was RN-Soil-Lab. The information platform is designed to automate soil testing laboratories and help them handle growing workloads without compromising research quality. The system includes modules for testing, planning, statistical analysis, and equipment management.
The platform's algorithms are designed to become more effective as research volumes increase. When processing 100 soil samples, the system can reduce the time required across all stages of laboratory work by an average of threefold.
