RusHydro Rolls Out Two IT Systems to Automate Operations
The tools reduce staff workload and cut equipment downtime across power facilities.

RusHydro reported the rollout of two key IT systems developed under the ITTs Elektroenergetika (Electric Power Industry program). The update was announced during a visit by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko to the Krasnoyarsk region.
One of the systems, now operating across five company branches, manages production assets. It has cut repair costs by 5 percent, reduced equipment downtime, and improved the reliability of power infrastructure.
The second system focuses on optimizing diagnostics for hydrotechnical structures. It enables real-time assessment of monitoring data from instrumentation, checking it against safety requirements. The rollout has reduced technical staff workload by about 15 percent and improved the quality of system monitoring.
As part of its broader digital transformation strategy, RusHydro has already shifted to domestic software, with more than 30,000 workstations now running locally developed solutions.
