Industrial Computer Software Tested in Russia

Domestic developers have confirmed the compatibility of BLOK computers with RED OS 8.

Russian developers have confirmed the compatibility of BLOK and BLOK-2 industrial computers with the RED OS 8 operating system, according to a statement from RED SOFT. Test results showed that the hardware and its embedded software components can be used together without issues.

BLOK computers are used for industrial automation, in nuclear power engineering, and for controlling unmanned aerial vehicles and transport systems.

Designed for Any Task

During joint testing, engineers assessed the performance of the entire communications system, the efficiency of integrated graphics, and the operation of thermal regulation mechanisms. The tests confirmed the safe and reliable operation of all components within the hardware–software complex.

According to Oleg Kholodny, product director for Embedded Systems at RTSoft Group, the BLOK and BLOK-S platforms have received “a fully verified, secure, and modern domestic software ecosystem.”

Russian developers say they are ready to offer up-to-date solutions for a wide range of business and industrial tasks.
